Hi, I'm Mitch Sanders.

Serial entrepreneur. Systems architect. Infrastructure builder. I started my first business at 10, tested more than 50 failed ideas, products and companies, and built 10 ultra-successful ventures that each reached more than $10MM in revenue.

Serial entrepreneur. Systems builder. Operator.

Mitch started his first business at 10 years old and has spent the years since testing ideas, building companies, breaking things, fixing them, and turning operational mess into systems that scale.

He has worked across unusually different industries: automotive dismantling, BMW parts, motorsport engineering, web hosting, online marketing, software platforms, cryptocurrency education, crypto exchange infrastructure, mining operations, server infrastructure, AI automation and business operations.

That range is the point. Mitch is not tied to one market or one toolset. He looks for operational bottlenecks, designs the system around them, and builds the technical or commercial infrastructure needed to make the business run better.

His track record includes more than 50 failed ideas, products and companies — the expensive reps that teach judgment — and 10 ultra-successful ventures that each reached more than $10MM in revenue, including agency, hosting, automotive, education and crypto infrastructure businesses.

I do not just build products. I build systems that make businesses more efficient.

The pattern is always the same.

Find the bottleneck. Build the operating system. Remove the dependency on memory, heroics and repetition. Then keep improving until the business can handle more volume with less chaos.

From parts to process

BMW dismantling is not just mechanical work. At scale it becomes a data, inventory, photography, fitment, storage and fulfilment problem.

From servers to reliability

Hosting is not just hardware. It is provisioning, support, monitoring, backups, networking, security and the discipline to keep systems online.

From ideas to operating leverage

AI and automation are useful when they replace repetitive decisions, reduce founder workload and make the business measurably easier to run.

Operating Principles

Build systems before hiring people.

People should run the machine, not compensate for a missing one.

Own the infrastructure where practical.

Control matters when reliability, cost and performance matter.

Automate repetitive work.

Anything repeated often enough deserves a workflow, script or agent.

Measure everything.

Data beats opinion when the decision has operational consequences.

Document every process.

Documentation converts personal knowledge into company capability.

Reliability beats novelty.

New tools are useful only when they improve the system.

Solve root causes.

Fix the failure mode, not just the symptom that surfaced today.

Execution compounds.

Small shipped systems beat large unexecuted ideas.

Companies Built From the Ground Up

Mitch's companies span hosting, automotive, motorsport, software, marketing and infrastructure. Different markets, same playbook: find an operational problem, build the system, scale what works.

HostZilla.com

HostZilla was a hosting company Mitch founded and led from 2011 to 2014. HostZilla is a provider of shared, reseller, VPS and dedicated hosting solutions across Linux and Windows platforms.

The company operated in the classic infrastructure era: customer support, uptime, provisioning, hosting plans, reseller accounts, virtual servers and dedicated machines. It is an early example of Mitch building an internet business around operational reliability and technical service delivery rather than pure marketing.

Operating History

Started building companies by solving practical problems directly.
Hands-on engineering, custom builds, diagnostics and performance problem solving.
Built repeatable workflows around dismantling, parts identification, inventory and fulfilment.
Scaled automotive parts operations across customer support, logistics and specialist BMW knowledge.
Converted manual operational knowledge into systems, tools and repeatable workflows.
Expanded into servers, storage, virtualisation, networking, monitoring and deployment reliability.
Earlier infrastructure scale through HostZilla; current focus continues the same systems thinking across hosting, automation and business infrastructure.
Using LLMs and agents to reduce repetitive founder work and improve business operating systems.
Scalable infrastructure, automation and business systems that compound operational leverage.

Numbers

The useful version of experience is not a clean highlight reel. It is years of reps: wins, failures, hard lessons, operational scars and compounding judgment.

Where the Experience Compounds

Business

Scaling operations, systems thinking, cashflow, process automation and execution discipline.

Automotive

BMW engineering, performance parts, dismantling, diagnostics, conversions and workshop operations.

Infrastructure

Linux, networking, virtualisation, TrueNAS, storage, high-performance servers and cloud hosting.

Technology

AI agents, LLMs, automation, business systems, cybersecurity interests, crypto exchanges, mining operations and blockchain infrastructure.

Current Operating Focus

The current focus is automotive data, marketplace operations, infrastructure and AI automation — systems that turn auctions, vehicles, parts and fulfilment into cleaner operating workflows. Current work log.

Auction intelligence

Converting auction data, vehicle condition signals and market context into faster, better-informed decisions.

Parts marketplace operations

Improving listing flow, inventory structure, customer experience, fulfilment and seller-side operating systems.

Vehicle and parts data

Building data systems around VINs, fitment, parts catalogues, BMW compatibility and searchable automotive knowledge.

Failures Built the Filter

More than 50 failed ideas, products and companies created the filter Mitch uses today: move fast, but do not confuse activity with leverage.

Manual processes eventually break.

If a business depends on memory and heroic effort, it becomes fragile. The fix is documentation, automation and clear ownership.

Infrastructure shortcuts send invoices later.

Cheap or rushed technical decisions often return as downtime, migrations, security risk, support load or operational drag.

Inventory is a systems problem.

Parts, photos, fitment, locations and fulfilment only work at scale when the workflow is designed end-to-end.

Built in the Real World

The work is physical and technical: workshops, parts, servers, dashboards, infrastructure and the operating rooms where decisions get made.
